学校水泳応援団（水泳授業の指導協力）学校水泳応援団、４，５・６年生の指導

やはりキックから修正

５・６年生の水泳授業の１回目は５年生課外実習と言うことで６年生だけ。

最初時間をもらって全員にキックの確認をしてもらった。

３・４年と同じく壁からキックするほど離れていくのを、理由説明して繰り返し練習するうちに良くなってきた。

３班に分かれて、泳力に応じて１班２班と班分け、３班は頑固に未だ泳げない子供が３名ほどいてその子達の特別クラス。

２班引き受けてクロールの練習から。

まず蹴りが悪いもので足が沈む、また顔が鎮められずに多少立ち気味になるもので尚更足が沈む。

勢いよく蹴る足のおかげでそれでも前には進むが、これでは疲れて５０ｍ、１００メートルなんて泳げない。

息継ぎだって横に顔があげれなく、顔あげたときの目線が多少後ろなんてならないものだから軽く進むなんてことにはならない。

顔だって前加減で上げるものだからすいすいという泳ぎでなくギッタンバッタンの感じで前途多難を感じる。

郡の水泳大会レベルが昨年の資料まだもらえてないもんだからどの程度か分からぬが、スイミングの選手コースの所属者がいるものとすれば、大体想像がつく。

そんな状態考えれば、なるだけ長い距離のレースや、バタフライやバックに回らなければ決勝に残ることすら不可能である。

と言うことは如何に綺麗で楽な泳ぎ身につけてもらう必要があるということで、それ以外に良い方法が考えられない。

夏休みに入ってから１０日足らずで、バタフライや背泳覚えてレースに出るなんてとてもじゃないがと言うことになるが、それだけやりがいありと言うことでもある。

でもそうでもなければ、メドレーリレーにすら出れない。

大体どこともスイミング育ちでなければバタフライ、背泳出来るのが少ないから出てこれるチーム数が少なかろうし、上位一握り以外ならつけ刃でもなんとか良い勝負に持ち込めるはずである。

それゆえ、弱小チームにとってフリーリレーよりメドレーリレイのほうが狙い目のはずである。
